Shelley was kind and sweet. When I was 8 years old I knocked on her door to ask her to donate to a school fundraiser, and she invited me into her home and we became friends. She lived on my street, and for years I would stop by every few months to see her and chat. She was caring and welcoming, her kindness stuck with me into adulthood. She always had a sweet story to tell about her children. After middle school life became busy and I never even asked for her contact information. Just the other day I thought of her again and wanted to search for her, only to find that she had passed. I'm sad that she's gone, and that I didn't get to meet her again in my adult life. Wishing Greg the best, he was always kind as well.

I am so sorry for your loss. Shelley was a wonderful person. I grew up with Missy, and after years of not seeing Shelley, she would still mail me Christmas cards, and laminate any picture of my children when they were in The times reporter. She also made a couple magnets with their faces on she was great.
