Royce N. Holcomb Jr., 67, of Dover, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Schoenbrunn Health Care at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

A son of the late Royce N. Holcomb Sr. and the late Elizabeth Irene (Best) Holcomb, Roy was born July 6, 1951 at Dennison, Ohio.

Royce N. Holcomb Jr., 67, of Dover, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Schoenbrunn Health Care at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

A son of the late Royce N. Holcomb Sr. and the late Elizabeth Irene (Best) Holcomb, Roy was born July 6, 1951 at Dennison, Ohio.

Roy graduated from Claymont High School in 1969. He was a hard worker and was employed at various factories during his younger years. Roy will be remembered for his generous spirit.

He is survived by his sisters, Barb Lorenz of Bolivar and Joyce Taylor and Karen Wiggins both of New Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Shirley Garrett, Jo Ann Walton and Judy Cunningham.

In keeping with Roy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and inurnment will take place in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
