I remember when you left California after Grampa Edie passed, something about that day and the look on your face has always stuck in my mind. I will never forget you. We will have to jam when we meet again, two of the greatest bass players in the Edie family. Love you John, peace to all who love you. You are missed.

To the John Edie Family, Our family expresses our deepest sympathy during this time of sorrow. We thank you and hold you dear to our hearts for hosting the recent family reunion. Although John was not feeling well. he was on top of his game during the sports trivia session. My favorite memory of John; attending Muhammad Ali's heavyweight championship fight in Cleveland. We were able to see the legends of the boxing world gathered in one place. An amazing experience to share with an interesting man. The Thomas Bitticker Family
