Emily was such a kind and wonderful lady. For many years after retiring from teaching, Emily came to Central to help out in my second grade classroom. The children loved her and her presence brightened my day! I will always be thankful for her help and friendship. Sending my sincere sympathy and prayers to her family.

Nita, thinking of you during this difficult time. I always enjoyed my visits with your Mom. It always warmed my heart to see she and your Dad walking the mall and holding hands. What a glorious reunion I am sure they had.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Mrs Rummell was a very big influence in my life, in school and on their farm. I will never for get her feeding me molasses cookies. I use to go to the barn with Mr Rummell and get the eggs from the chickens and got pecked and was terrified then to do it until my adult life. I have many wonderful memories that I will hold in my heart. Bless them both as they are together again.

I was saddened to learn about Emily's passing. She was a tutor at Central Elementary when I taught there. After retirement, she was a volunteer in second grade. Emily and her friend Nancy Page helped Central students improve reading and math skills for many years. But I think that my favorite memory would be seeing Warren and Emily walking hand in hand at the mall. Such a heartwarming sight! Now they are together again. Condolences and prayers to Emily's family.
