Carol Lee Russo, age 64, of New Philadelphia went to be with the Lord at 1:47 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2021, while in her home.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 6, 1956, Carol was a daughter of the late Emmit and Lila Buskirk Lindsey.

Carol Lee Russo, age 64, of New Philadelphia went to be with the Lord at 1:47 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2021, while in her home.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 6, 1956, Carol was a daughter of the late Emmit and Lila Buskirk Lindsey.
Carol, who was also known to many as Mama Russo, was a devoted homemaker and follower of Christ. She loved worshiping and reading her Bible. Her faith was nurtured at Word of Life Church, Legacy Church, Preach the Word Ministries and Cathedral of Praise. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks and spending time with her daughter and beloved companion dog, Bailey Angel.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Connie Russo of the home, her former husband, Carl Russo of New Philadelphia; her special cousins, Debbie Zagwodski and Bill VanBuskirk, her special friends who reside in Florida, Margaret and Michael as well as a niece and nephew. She also considered her church families to be her own family.
There will be a public service January 14, 2021 at 5 PM at Preach the Word Ministries. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.

I knew Carol for a year,as she started coming to our church(Cathedral of Praise)..She would sing unto the Lord...She made us Homemade Christmas cards and I will cherish mine...God knew He needed her,so RIP Carol...

Carol I was shocked to hear the news of your passing. So out of the blue. I know if my momma was still alive you both would of been good friends. You were such a sweet,loving lady who was a God loving woman You always text me and ask how we was. That meant a lot to me. We kept in touch. It was great seeing you at the church that day . Just like old times. I'm so glad we went. I love you I can't believe your gone but I will never forget you,you'll always be in my heart. I know your with Jesus .Rest peacefully sweet lady I will miss you so much. God just gained another beautiful angel to sing for him. Like you did here on earth.
