Adrie A. Krebs, 70 of Dover, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Aultman Hospital in Canton after suffering an apparent cardiac event.

Born in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Adrian A. and Frances M. (DeLuca) Wisintainer and had retired from Union Hospital in Dover where she had worked as a transcriptionist for over 25 years. She loved reading, sunshine, and being in her garden. She could be silly and was quick to laugh. She was compassionate, generous, and adventurous (skydiving, motorcycles, ropes course). She had a serious sweet tooth and always made sure her family had more cookies than they needed. She loved her family deeply.

She is survived by her husband, Victor “Vic” Krebs of the residence; a son, Michael (Topaz) Tolloti of Canton; a step-son, Jim (Jodi) Krebs of Lynn Haven, Florida; her six grandchildren, Taylor, Adrianna, Alex, Dylan, Jordan and Delaney; her eight great-grandchildren; nephews, Pete, Jeff and James Fantine, Her Aunt, Evie Wisentainer, her cousins Lori and Larry, her best friend, Georgie Korns and her cat, Kiki.

In addition to her parents, a step-daughter, Lori Krebs, a brother, Allan Visintainer and a sister, Mary Fantine also precede her in death.

In keeping with her wishes, Adrie is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia and a private family graveside service will be held at a future date.

Vic and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Adrie at Union and she was a fantastic person! Although I haven't seen her in several years, it breaks my heart that she has gone to be with her Holy Father. My thought are with you.

I worked with Adrie at UH Lab. Enjoyed many talks about the turns life can take, shared many laughs with her, talked about how we made polenta...and often shared our faith with each other. She was always upbeat and happy and loved her family dearly. I know that your hearts will have an empty space because of your loss. It is my sincere hope that you will fill that spot with many happy memories and find peace in knowing that she is safe with Jesus. It was a pleasure enjoying her friendship. Rest in Peace, Adrie. With my sympathy- Gerry Tinor

A great aunt and a dear friend. What I'll remember most about Adrie is her compassion toward others. She was my listener and advisor. I will still talk to her and ask for advice, but instead of looking down, I'll look up. :) I will miss her beyond measure.

Adrie was adventurous. In 1993 in Negril Jamaica she did the 35 foot jump from the cliff at Rick’s Cafe. She said it was a thrilling experience and she was glad she did it! Adrie’s zest for life was very motivating and I will keep her close in my heart. My deepest sympathy to her family and all who loved her.

I can't express the sadness I feel at the passing of Adrie. I have to say she was one lady who I can say was a true friend. I loved her and even though we didn't see each other often, she knew I loved her. She was wonderful to my daughter and accepted the grandkids as her own when Mike and Topaz got married. I will miss you for the rest of my days. I love you Adrie!

She was very special to me not only as a daughter-in-law but as a friend who was always there for me. I loved her dearly. She will be missed by so many but remembered for her kindness to others. ?
